Website Portfolio
www.garystowing.biz belongs to the premier Mid-Ohio Valley towing service. The site uses a creative technique to display menu tabs, a background that mimics pavement and utilizes the colors that Gary's Towing is known for. |
www.triple555nickel.com is a Mid-Ohio motorcycle supply shop. Triple Nickel is a place where you can share knowledge with other riders, a place where you can get anything you need for your motorcycle (regardless of make or model), a place where you can go to tell a couple of good stories, and a place where you belong. The site is CSS XHTML Web Standards compliant, and features a host of integrated catalogs with a simply email response form that customers use to order parts on-line. |
www.broadwayindustrialpark.com belongs to "Heck" Heckert, a Parkersburg, WV, business man. The site features a photo collage and a detailed description of this property. The website is intended to attract and appeal to interested buyers. |
www.moviecars.biz — Studio One also owned by "Heck" Heckert, provides a limited tour of his inventory. Heck provides custom demolition for the film industry. The motto says it all, "Rent 'em, Wreck 'em, and Return 'em." MovieCars.biz provides a unique service in that film companies need simplified access to vehicles that will end up salvaged without the paperwork hassle associated with vehicle titles. |
www.riverviewcu.com belongs to Riverview Credit Union in Belpre, Ohio. Riverview needed a high quality site that was web standards compliant and could be updated by their staff. To simplify the updating process, the site was developed with special hidden tags that indicate where content can be updated. Their stafff will use our favorite editing program, HTML Pad, to make their own updates. They chose to use one of our sample templates, which we tweaked and improved. WebProper.com also created the graphics for the site. |
www.mattressmax.biz is another new business in Vienna, WV. MattressMax sells high end, Englander mattresses. The site is undoubtedly the best Englander website on the Internet. The site is XHTML and CSS compliant, as usual, and features a three-dimensional graphic techinque that makes part of the image come off the page. |
www.aprillove.biz belongs to a local singer/musician. The site was redesigned in October 2005 to provide XHTML and CSS compliance. The design is CSS based. And the menu uses a single graphic with a pure CSS rollover to provide a very fast loading image swap. Phil also designed all the graphics. A sample song is on the site. |
www.ashmoreconsulting.com belongs to a grant writing consultant in Denver. This is one of our earliest sites and again is CSS based, both the layout and the menu. Phil also designed all the graphics. All of the email addresses and web forms in our sites are protected from spambots by various coding tricks. |
www.copperleafinteriors.com will appear to be the same as it was before to the untrained eye. We brought this old site up to CSS XHTML Web Standards compliance without changing the way the site looks (not too much, anyway). There were a few improvements we added. The site uses a background image with various transparent images layered over the background to provide links. Building the site required taking the various image pieces from the previous tables-based design and "sewing" them back together for use as a background image for the new tableless design. |
www.business-specialties.com is a promotional products site. It incorporates the use of iframes which allow the site to use Internet factory catalogs that are seamlessly integrated into the Business Specialties site. Again, all of the graphics were designed by Phil. |
www.ccccohio.org is owned by the Ohio Congregational Fellowship, which is associated with the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. This site provides news and views of churches and events. The site is pure CSS and has a Google blog integrated into the look and feel of the site. |
www.covenantwv.org belongs to a local church in Vienna, WV. It uses a two-column XHTML and CSS compliant template and an overlapping tab style drop down state-of-the-art menu. |
www.netlocalads.com is our Internet advertising business. The site is a simple information source about this new cutting-edge service. The service pushes Internet text ads to local geographic areas through all major search engines from one management portal, and reports all hits — including email and telephone inquiries generated from the ads. |
www.lambifund.org belongs to a non-profit organization that provides funding and programs in Haiti. This site was designed by eTapesty.com, which provides secure server credit card and donation pages. Phil completely overhauled the site code to make it XHTML and CSS compliant without changing the look of the site. The compliance redesign was so seamless that no one ever noticed. |
www.malonerenovations.com is a local construction and historic renovations company. This site had been in the grip of a telecom marketing program for small businesses. However, the site was unmarketable from an Internet perspective in that the pages were not hosted on customer's domain, but in the telecom's database. Pages were redirected, which is not recommended. This pure CSS design features a simple, clean interface that reflected the original design in order to maintain consistency. |
www.tomkellandthemission.com belongs to Tom Kell, Phil's brother-in-law, who is a Christian song writer and singer. This site was redesigned in July 2005 to provide CSS and XHTML compliance. This site uses PayPal links to provide Online album purchasing and payment options. You can listen to sample songs on the site. |
www.paross.com belongs to Phil's other business. This site was a World Wide Web Awards - Silver Award winner (2005), and has been redesigned in June, 2007. This site is content heavy and uses an unusual pure CSS drop down menu system for fast and easy navigation. The content of this site is as interesting as the design, and perhaps more so. If you visit the site, set some time aside because there is a lot there. |
www.pilgrim-platform.org is Phil's Christian ministry site. It has been through many iterations since it debut on the web in 1992. It currently uses a cutting edge CSS graphic drop down menu system for fast and easy navigation. It requires superior navigation because it is another content rich site. Here you will learn what they never told you in church. |
www.regalconsulting.com belongs to Jim Regal a local business consultant and friend. This site was redesigned in the Summer of 2005 to provide XHTML and CSS compliance. It is fast loading and provides a clean, corporate look. Phil designed all of the graphics here too. If you are serious about growing your business, talk to Jim. |
www.mcalarney.com belongs to a local business that sells home recreational solutions — swimming pools, billiard tables, poker supplies, darts, tanning equipment, etc. The site is CSS/XHTML compliant and features several iframe catalogs from their suppliers that seamlessly integrate into the site. This site also uses our NetLocalAds Internet ads service that ports text ads through all the major search engines. |
www.irsp.org belongs to Hyppolite Pierre (I love his name!), who runs a non-profit Haitian political think-tank. This site uses the same basic template as the Lambi Fund site, and shows how the same template can be used to produce a different look and feel. It also has a Flash element that scrolls pictures of Haiti across the header, and uses a CSS hover element to enlarge the book. Again, the site conforms to compliancy standards. |
www.sterlingroup.com belongs to marketing and advertising group which I belong to. The site is XHTML/CSS compliant and features a swinging, floating menu that remains stationary as the page scrolls. You really need to see it, and when you do you will see the optimal intended effect in FireFox/Mozilla. IE just doesn't do it. |
www.americanflagsandmore.com is a local Marietta business. The site employs a state-of-the-art shopping cart that allows the owner to update and manage the site for less than $100. It is the only HTML/CSS standards compliant cart on the market, and is completely and easily customizable. Because the cart has over 100,000 installations and a viable user community, it is not dependent upon any particular designer, which is good for the customer. |
www.hypnobabiesmov.com is new Marietta business that helps expecting mothers deliver babies without pain or drugs. How? Through hypnotism. Amy, the owner and operator, gets her clients from physician referral. She is also involved in Hypnotherapy as a method of cancer pain relief, but that's another website. This site is XHTML and CSS standards compliant, and features some classic pregnancy photos. |
www.wchfh.com mimics the national Habitat site in order to provide a familiar Habitat web experience. However, it does not use the national site's HTML code , which is full of errors and uses old HTML coding techniques. Our Washington County site, on the other hand, is XHTML and CSS standards compliant. Contact information is readily available on every page, as on all of our sites. |
